Forgiveness in the Bible

Let There Be Forgiveness

Let There Be Forgiveness
Forgiveness is a beautifully written book that explains the positive and healing values of forgiveness. Forgiving and being forgiven is one of the basic principles of Christian faith, and using examples from The Bible and other spiritual texts author Gillian Stokes outlines how by developing the ability to become a forgiving person even in the most unforgiving situations we become instruments of growth and harmony, as well as happier human beings. In her lessons she points out that when we close the door on forgiveness we refuse the hope to improve or change a negative situation and hence our own personal development. Stokes takes her text beyond the realm of personal forgiveness and invites the reader to apply the same principles to events in the public domain.
